A few examples of the types of obstacles we can bore under are:
• Roads, sidewalks, driveways & parking lots.
• Ponds, small lakes, streams, rivers & drainage basins.
• Lawns, wooded areas, large trees, golf courses, protected wetlands, or other sensitive areas.
• Busy intersections, airport runways, emergency entrances, or other areas that cannot be closed.
• Houses, barns, buildings & many other structures.
We bore under foundations or into crawl spaces, basements or manholes. HDD can be used for a "shore approach" where utilities go from land into the water without disturbing sensitive beach areas.
Utilities can be bored from the mainland under a body of water and onto an island. HDD can be used to place utilities into areas that would otherwise be inaccessible without major construction.
